COMPANY HISTORY

Your Body Programme was founded by Terry Fairclough and Luisa Valenti. The idea came about after Terry and Luisa saw other personal trainers regularly offering the same generic plan with every client, regardless of gender, goal or body type. Terry and Luisa are passionate about the need to train the individual to achieve maximum results, and therefore don’t use a one size fits all approach.

Originally trained as a professional chef and now a qualified nutritional therapist, Terry has been working in the health and fitness industry for nearly 20 years while Luisa began her career as a professional dancer before moving into the fitness industry over 10 years ago. Together they offer knowledge backed by science and decades of experience to create unique programmes packed with detailed yet easy to follow instructions.

Although London based, the way that YBP is designed means their expertise is available to clients across the world.

Focusing on your specific goal (fat loss, sculpt or muscle gain) you will have access to a personal mini-site with a scientifically based plan. The exercise section includes video demonstrations plus new exercises and concepts every month. Your exercises are hand selected from our library of over nine hundred and combined with one of 30 concepts, resulting in thousands of different exercise programmes guaranteed to keep you motivated. Constant progression is built into the programme to avoid the body hitting a plateau.

The nutrition section gives you your daily calorie estimate and macronutrient percentages, accompanied with hundreds of healthy, tasty recipes relevant to your body-type and goal. At YBP we know that all body-types respond differently to both exercise and food, therefore we must work with our natural genetics, not against them.  You will also have access to relevant lifestyle and health articles.

YBP’s online service gives you a personal trainer and nutritional therapist for a fraction of the cost. We’re on hand to help with any questions or queries so you’ll feel like you have a professional by your side every step of the way. We want you to look good and feel positive, as well as increase your energy level, overall health and feel proud of your body type. Our programmes are realistic, educational and deliver results. Understanding this essential factor means you work with your genetic body-type and not against it, resulting in efficient, effective workouts. Every detail of your plan is prescribed to maximise results.

The nutrition section will guide you to make the right choices at the supermarket. We give you your daily calorie estimate, macronutrient percentages and nutrient timing for training and non-training days. The detailed nutritional plan is key to achieving maximum results. We also provide hundreds of healthy, tasty recipes, plus cooking demonstrations that are loved by our YBP members. Healthy food can be tasty and enjoyable.

For those with specific health condition (e.g. arthritis, diabetes or osteoporosis) we have articles written by our nutritional therapist including food, supplement and lifestyle advice. We have seen some great results with our YBP members in reducing, and in some cases, eradicating their symptoms. If you have a serious, chronic condition we advise trying our clinical nutrition package.
